I Believe in the Light
“While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.” John 12: 36, 44 (ESV)
I have seen God at work. I have witnessed His healing power. I have trusted in Him. I Believe in the Light.
As I travel the path God has for me, I thank him. My path belongs to me and your path belongs to you. It is not meant for us to switch paths or tradeoff for what we may think is an easier path. We must thank God for being with us and for giving us everything we need.
The path that God has for us, it may become dark at times, there may be challenges placed in our way. Believe in God’s light.
We are all on a path, a journey, a road that will lead us to what God has for us. Is that path easy, smooth, without rough spots – NEVER. When we encounter these rough spots, I believe God has placed these challenges before us to show us - He is with us, through the bumps, the rocks, and the puddles. Your faith in Him, your belief in the Light will get you through, will help you walk the path He has for you.
If you praise and honor God during the smooth, easy times while on your path, He will be with you and see you through the dark, rough, challenging times.
During this season of Lent, as we travel on our paths, let us remember the path that Jesus traveled for us. The sacrifices he made so that we may receive the Light of our Heavenly Father.
Believing in the Light,
